Terms of Service
Last updated September 11, 2026
These Terms cover your use of every Toolbyte tool: toolbyte.io, invoice.toolbyte.io, qrcode.toolbyte.io, and receipts.toolbyte.io (together, "Toolbyte", "the Service"). By using any of them, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Toolbyte is
Toolbyte is a small, independently run suite of free tools — currently an invoice generator, a QR code studio, and an expense-report builder. It's operated by Keenan Pinto ("we", "us").
2. Your account
One account works across every Toolbyte tool. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Give us an email address you actually have access to — it's how we reach you and how you'd recover your account.
3. Using Toolbyte responsibly
Don't use Toolbyte to break the law, to create fraudulent documents (fake invoices, falsified receipts, and the like), to abuse or overload the Service, or to try to access another user's data. We can suspend or close an account that does any of this.
4. Your content, your responsibility
Everything you create with Toolbyte — invoices, customer records, QR codes, receipts, expense reports — belongs to you. We only store and process it so we can provide the Service back to you; we don't claim ownership of it and we don't use it for anything else.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you create. Toolbyte Invoices and Toolbyte Expenses help you produce documents, but we don't check them for tax, accounting, or legal compliance in your jurisdiction — that's on you or your accountant.
5. Free to use
Toolbyte is currently free. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, existing free functionality won't suddenly start requiring payment without reasonable notice.
6. No warranty
Toolbyte is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but we don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Back up anything that matters to you.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Toolbyte and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Since Toolbyte is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us — which, today, is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Toolbyte, and delete your content, at any time. You can request full account deletion by emailing toolbyte.app@gmail.com. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as Toolbyte changes. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use Toolbyte after a change means you accept the update.
10. Your local consumer rights
These Terms don't take away any consumer-protection rights you're entitled to under the mandatory law of the country you live in — where those rights apply, they apply regardless of anything else in these Terms.
